Health: No issues in life, sudden death at 18 months.

Temperament: Sweet with people and other rats

Notes:  Zelda is Midna's sister and one of the first pedigreed rats I have been lucky to share my life with.  She is such a sweet girl, always good with other rats of all ages and a "grandmother" of sorts to the younger girls.  

Breeding History:  Paper Heart bred Zelda to ANR D'Artagnan, a black blazed bareback dumbo.  While under my care, Zelda gave birth to a beautiful litter of 16!!!  All babies were placed through Paper Heart.  Two of her daughters, Twilight and Dewdrop, and one of her sons, Darwin, were retained by PH.  I kept her son, Link, who can be seen on the Male Rats page.  Dewdrop has returned here to retire and live with her mother, aunt and brother.

Zelda passed away on June 21, 2009 at 18 months of age.

Zelda had always been a healthy rat, and her death was quite unexpected.

I try to take comfort in the fact that she did not seem to suffer, and lived life to the fullest in her time here.

No necropsy was performed as Zelda was not part of my breeding program.
